Hair chop!

Ta-da!  I decided to chop off most of my hair over the weekend.  Originally, I planned on just cutting it to my shoulders but one thing led to another and suddenly I had a bob!  I haven't had hair this short since the Disastrous Bob-cut of 1998, but I have been feeling persnickety lately and just wanted something DIFFERENT.

I use heck of a lot less shampoo now and I must admit that it is very easy to maintain!  I don't straighten my hair every morning, it just curls in by itself most of the time - thanks to my favorite-awesome hairdresser dude, Juno.  All I need to do is comb it out a bit and stick a hairband on if it's particularly frizzy.  I thought I would hate having hair in my face, but since it is so short, it actually doesn't bother me at all. I think most girls (me included), have a bit of a phobia having super short hair; longer hair is seen as shmexier and more universally flattering I suppose  ^_^;;   Worst comes to worst, hair always grows back too~  Basically, I am glad I took the jump and I think I will actually be keeping my hair above shoulder length for at least another year.  Having so little hair will be so nice in the summer too. Yah yah yah!

Ultimately, I will be growing it out about 1-2 inches to match Hairstyle #11 from this post.  Partly because the people who voted in that poll liked that haircut the most :D and partly because I want to be able tie back more of my hair.  Right now I can only make a ponytail with half my hair :( :(
